Engro at Davos 2024: Democratizing Global Learning

“We are trying to create a window to the world – we want our people to have a greater understanding of the world around them, of what is going on, and the only way you can do that is by listening to what others say.” Engro and the Dawood Group have been actively participating at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meetings in Davos for over three decades. This year, this global learning opportunity was not limited to the Engro delegation attending the event but spread across 16 locations back home in Pakistan – with over 300 people listening to a wide range of discussions from the WEF’s sessions in Davos. VCast spoke to several Engro leaders present in Davos, and with some of the participants in Karachi – on how this democratization of knowledge adds value to their global perspectives and reflects Engro’s commitment to enabling growth and learning across the organization.
